Nepal Churchs has great isues on leadership. Many peoples they are willing to lead their congreagation but they fail to do even they do best in everthing. This is becouse we did not have life changeable leadership tranning that brings in knowledge, skills and Character. This brings teachings about Leadership and their skills and teachings. We have verry effective Topicts Subject. We have done two classes and it will go for 6 month.  

We do not have any source for this tranning. What we are doing is raising money from Trainners and Pastoers Churches. We are six pasters in Six different Churchs.

We raised money from Trainners other money we are rising from this six churches. 

We had oppening day, We also have food for tranners and gifts for teachers. we do gratuation to. so need some fund. please keep us praying fo Leadership Skills Devlopment Tranning.

Till now tranning has gone so well and every one liked its teachings. We have reach to 60 leaders and Pastors where we ware aspecting only 30. One Paster and Leader coming from Glorious Church Hetauda for training. Becouse this is verry effectivew.

Keep us praying for us. Financially we are verry week.

New Orphanage has started in Sarlahi Milanchok with 15 Children. Rev Doctor Donald Jugam and His comunity from First Lutheren Church of Poulsbo and Ps Philip Chhetri is working hard for orphanage to suport financially.
 
Ps Amar Thapa and Saimon Thapa is taking care of kids teaching them with biblical and moral teaching. Orphanage building foundation was laid on October 2011. Children are so happy to help building orphanage and they and settling in new orphanage. 

The construction is finished! The Bhorle congregation now meets in the new riverside building! Praise the Lord and may He continue to pour out his grace on this community.

While everyone in the physical labouring team is taking a much deserved break, we need to proceed into the second round of fundraising. So we call again for your prayers of support, that the Lord would again release funding. We have just the plastering and painting to go (In the major job section). Along with some small electoral wiring jobs and a touch of gardening. Perhaps if things go well we can even make a toilet, who knows.

This has been a very exciting project. What planned to be a small jungle shack turned into a fortress to house a multitude. One can only attribute this to the great work of Jesus in this place. As everyone is shocked, even the designers and builders at the outcome of this whole project. I pray we can be a Romans 1 church and honour our Father in Heaven and give Him all the glory now and also in the future as we look to the next plans for this village and also ultimately to His return.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed. We are already seeing a huge impact in the village community. This is from the speedy construction progress and style added with a healthy dose of general human curiosity. Also many locals have been able to work alongside the church members during this time which also has been a great intergration point.

Ps. Please pray for Compassion Nepal Orphanage as the building they are currently in might be getting sold soon and as of now they have no place to go.

Since the build at Gorkha is underway I figured it was about time to post an update about how it all came about. So I asked my friend Matt to do a quick write up about how things happened back in New Zealand. Here it is:

My name is Matt Thomas, my wife Janine and I are Youth Pastors in Lower Hutt, New Zealand with the Salvation Army. On July 3rd I had the strangest thought...(in the shower I might add). It went like this "I should contact Adam (my old school friend who is currently in Nepal) and see if they need a church to be built in Nepal, and if I could raise the money, then go and build it"

So I sent him an email...Adam's email reply was this:

Hey buddy, Have ya happened to read the post I made last week or so here.

His Blog post was unknown to me during my shower, or when I emailed him about what I had envisioned. Adam's post proceeded to tell of the need for a church in Nepal. Coincidence? Not a chance, this was clearly the leading of an all powerful God! The time of building the Church relied on money, weather and materials and RIGHT NOW the time was right, the window of opportunity to build the church was September – November (after monsoon and before winter).

My wife and I discussed how we could make this happen, we knew it was not a possibility for us to fund it alone, or travel to this distant unknown land with a young child. We committed our ways to the Lord and we quickly found His heart for this project was far greater than we could comprehend. 

The heavenly storehouses were wide open for this project and the funds for the Church, our travel, and travel expenses were raised in just 6 weeks. Thanks to God, His people and our awesome friends. So this is where the Journey begins. We are off to Nepal, to some crazy Village in the Himalayan jungle. Cant wait!

So with this bit of now history, I hope you get a bit of a view into the great things our Lord is doing in this country. Thank you to everyone who has contributed prayers or otherwise, such a huge change has come upon this small village. To everyone else, please feel free to join us. The journey is far from over :)

First of all a huge thanks to everyone who has donated to this project. About three weeks ago construction began. Basically since the time that we first posted about the need complete provision has come in. There is another great story behind this which will be coming soon, along with some photos of the current progress. But before all that here is a first update from Joel, a volunteer from New Zealand who has come over to help:

On the 12th of September, myself, Matt, Adam and Dev left the orphanage in Kathmandu for Gorkha. It was a very long day of travelling but we got to see some awesome parts of God’s creation on the way. We arrived at the village around 5pm that day and then we were welcomed by a whole lot of the church members. We were given flowers, lots of flowers and these were place around each of our necks. We were also given a Nepalese hat by father, who is Dev’s Father in law. We felt as though we were already part of this community. 

We have well and truly got under way with the foundations of the church; we have moved a lot of rocks and have filled most of the dug foundation with them.  Yesterday we went into the jungle to locate two trees that we needed to chop down for this project. We chopped both of them down and it was amazing to see them fall and see their sheer size. They were huge! We also spent one day in the river with a tractor collecting a whole lot of rocks for the foundation which was a very hard day. 

Alongside the building of the church we have had a few opportunities so far to join in worship with the people here. The way in which they express their praise to God is so inspiring. They are also very diligent in prayer. I have really enjoyed these moments. It has encouraged and challenged me in my faith. Matt has been bringing the word with Dev as his translator. God has been speaking to the people here and challenging them all to not neglect God for the sake of working. 

The main highlight for me so far is seeing the faith these people have. The people here prayed for a church and now it has become a reality. On Sunday father and three other church members decided to fast and go up into the mountains to pray for the whole day. I believe it is through the power of prayer that God has made it possible for this Church to be built. These people are faithful and we can learn a lot from them, well I know I can.

Christianity in Nepal has a very small population but I believe that God is doing something in this nation. My prayer team leader from my church said the other day to me that she believed that there is going to be a revival in this land. I am praying and believing that the people here will turn from their idol worship and turn to Jesus.  Jesus is the one true God and the only God that can set them free! Please be in prayer as we continue to build this church, pray that many will come to know Christ. My prayer for this church is that God will add to their number daily, all for his names sake. Hallelujah!!

According to friend Hyunjin and David ( David and friend visited to Kushma in their first mission trip and would like to build Church in Kushma) information I  start trip to kushma from Kathmandu.  I went to Pokhara and Sheela gave me her uncle Ram Sarma's ( he is going to provide land for Church) phone number and Dhan and me went to Kushma. Kushma is  about 57 KM from pokhara valley. Place Kushma village is naturally gifted and beautiful land. Road was by Maddi River.  we reach Kushma about 11am and I asked the location details to one guy but he was  non other than Ram Sarma.

It was very good to talk with Ram Sarma. he was from Hindu background but he was still happy to provide land for the Church. He also told me that if we want to share about Christian faith, he will be gathering villager together. He was very good to us, but  we ware unlucky that he had to go to some funeral service. In our talk He made me assure that he can provide land for Church if we are using less land, If we use more than he will give us in less money. I don't know the future outcome.

Dhana and I walked around. There was Nepal's longest and deepest bridge open Maddi River ( this bridge sample is kept in Pokhara International Mountain Museum). We walked around the village. Village is clean and  beautifully decorated by natural.

I notice there is NEED OF CHURCH. There is School up to +2. PRAYER IS VERY MUCH IMPORTANT for this place to open the door of salvation.

We also got privileged to see an orphanage on the way. It was made beautifully and securely near forest. I am thinking and start praying for the Land and Building for the ORPHANAGE similar to that.

Our trip was very good and fun in rainy road driving motorbike. Thank you everyone for praying for our trip to Kushma. Special thanks to Jin and David and for your Church Community.

Since long time we waere praying for Computer for the Children in orphanage for their practical learning.  Children Never stop asking four computer and projector to God and now God has answered the prayer with four Computer and projector. Is not it ammazing? God is good all the time... Yes! He is.

Well, it’s not quite central Gorkha, but a small village in the region. You head out towards Gorkha, then turn off about 10km before the city into a little village called Dhuwakot. This is a forty minute drive down a dirt ‘road’. Once you reach the little place, you then have to drive up a river for a while before you finally reach your destination. That is, the little house of a Church elder borrowed from the neighbouring local school. See the below picture:

Now the Church in this area is a little building on the side of a hill, almost at the top. You can see the hills in the background of the above photo (left). Above on the right is the current Church building. To get there you have to trek up a long and narrow windy path. This journey is beautiful and has great benefits like wild fruit every ten minutes or so but it is primarly a difficult walk. We had to stop and rest many times during the huge climb. Now immediately you see the trouble yes? If we as the young ish ones were struggling, you can imagine the trouble of the children and elders. This place is so hard to reach and the building so small, that most of the families end up sending only one person each week and even then the small Church is packed full.

So last year they (Glorious) were able to raise some money and bought a piece of land in the middle of the valley. On nice flat ground! The new location is perfect, as it serves as the center of three and a half villages. This will open up access to the gospel for a much larger group of people and allow for everyone to easily attend meetings.

On the left we have a picture of the surrounding hills where the current Church is. On the right, see that tree in the middle, that is the land now owned by Glorious. Excellent huh!

Now we just need to raise some money to make the building. Being village side, this is excessively cheap. Estimates for everything come to around $4000 USD. All the labour will be done by the congregation.
